Well here we are. It’s almost the end of a year that has been so much to so many. I’d like to call it the good, the bad and the ugly 2020. Here are a few quotes that resonated with me this year.
F. Scott Fitzgerald once said, “It’s never too late to become who you want to be. I hope you live a life that you’re proud of, and if you find that you’re not, I hope you have the strength to start over.”
“It’s good to start over. It will be scary but you will see what you’re really made of; it’s the best opportunity to achieve what you never thought you could.” -Jennifer Coletta
“This was when I learned that you have to give up your life as you know it to get a new one: that sometimes you need to let go of everything you’re clinging to and start over, whether because you’ve outgrown it or because it’s not working anymore, or because it was wrong for you in the first place.” – Kelly Cutrone
“If you’re truly ready to see how powerful you are, you need to stop thinking about all the things outside of your control. Instead turn your heart, mind and soul towards all the things you can influence, and make something good happen. That’s how to start a new year. And there’s no time like now.” BeginWithYes.com
There is always time for New Beginnings no matter what time of the year it may be. Some days are going to be better than others. You may make some mistakes along the way but no one is perfect. Allow yourself grace and kindness. You are never alone.
