Goodbye 2021

Here we are. 2021 is almost over and if anyone remembers how they felt this time last year, do we dare even say what we were thinking out loud for fear of having a repeat of 2021 in 2022? In all honesty, 2021 has been a great year of discovery and growth for me. It hasn’t always been easy, but anyone who knows me and my journey, knows that I am a strong person and always get back up when I’m knocked down. I think we sometimes forget and focus on things that we may not have any control over. As I reflect back from the beginning of the year until now, I certainly have many things to be thankful and grateful for.

I have been living in Tennessee for 9 months now. There are so many things I love about my new state. Sometimes we have to take a leap of faith and put our trust in ourselves and/or a higher power. I am beyond grateful for everything that aligned for me this past year.

I am grateful for:

Stepping outside my comfort zone and believing in myself to do what was best for me.

Purchasing a beautiful townhome in a great location and safe neighborhood thanks to a wonderful realtor, now friend.

Friends who helped me move from Minnesota to Tennessee. I know it wasn’t the most fun trip but am forever grateful.

My family and friends who came to visit me in my new state. Those visits, even if some were cut short meant the world to me. (You know who you are) I look forward to more visitors in 2022!

AudCo, Audience Company Nashville, which has introduced me to new friends who share a love of music and has allowed me to attend some wonderful events this year. (CMA Summer Jam, Darius Rucker, Luke Bryan, Cole Swindell and Clint Black tapings to name a few)

Taking the next steps to better health and feeling more confident and getting closer to my goals.

Working for a company that allows me to work from anywhere and having two fantastic bosses who support me.

My dog, Lord Seymour Wiener of Nashville, who brings me joy every day. Life would be so boring without you.

Vision boards. Sometimes you have to put out what you want in order to receive it.

TFF Fan Family and the 2022 tour.

Faith. I can do all things through Christ who gives me strength.

Bumble. Butterflies. Smooch boards. Road trips.

Continued happiness in 2022.
